Donations

The NWV is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, approved by the IRS. Therefore, donations are tax-deductible. In addition to cash donations, we also accept used model railroad equipment, which we then re-sell to support our mission.

As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt entity, we are able to offer proof of donation documentation for the  purposes of income tax deductions to those interested in donating to the NWV. In the past we have received model railroading equipment from individual donors and estates as well as monetary donations.

Our Donors

Occasionally a donor or the family of a donor wishes to tell a story at the time of a donation.  The NWV will post some stories on these pages to thank the people making the donation and to allow the readers to gain some insight into the background of the donation.
