We are also informally known as NWV which is an abbreviation for Northwestern Vermont Model Railroad Association.  The goal of this web site is to provide you with useful information about our  organization that encourages you to join us in the enjoyment of model  railroading.

Vt Rails Barre 2016

Our layout is almost back on-line for operations. The DCC system has been been repaired and the new switching lead and main line entrance into the south end of Arlington Yard track is being laid. 3 routes through the yard from the main line are already installed. 4  more main line routes by the station will be next.

Attention: Cloud painting part 2 is being held this coming Saturday, October 22.  All members are invited to attend free of charge. A $10 fee will apply to non-members over 15 years old and $5 for non-members 8 through 15 years old. Members and non-members must have a reservation to attend. Reserve your spot at education@nwvrailroad.org.
